🔥 My 2025 Content Strategy…

If you want to see massive growth in your brand and business next year, right now is the time to be preparing. So to help you with that, next week I’m hosting a FREE workshop where I’m going to break down my 2025 content strategy. I’ll pull back the curtain on what I’m going ALL IN on to continue growing next year.

If you want to attend, go here to register for free.

Now let’s get into this week’s letter…

2025 is going to be HUGE for content creators and personal brands.

This year we saw presidential candidates on podcasts and independent talk shows.

We saw social media creators get dramatically more reach than legacy media.

We saw YouTube shift towards allowing creators on TV.

Social media is where people go for information, the news, and to scout people out before buying.

I think Elon Musk put it best:

If you’re trying to grow a business, get a message into the world, or move people to action, and you’re NOT consistently creating content, you’re at a major disadvantage.

Luckily, it’s not too late to start.

So as 2025 approaches, here are the top 5 big macro trends you should be aware of.

1. Short form video is still king

Short form video will continue to be the best way to get reach and awareness on you and what you do.

More than any other content format, SFV reaches more new people and helps you grow your audience.

In 2025 this will continue to grow.

My recommendation is to make SFV the core part of your marketing strategy.

Then move people into longer-form formats, like podcasts, YouTube videos, or newsletters.

This is where you’ll build more relationship and trust with your audience.

And ultimately where your sales will come from.

Use short form video to reach new people.

Then use long form content to create something more meaningful.

2. The battle of AI and authenticity

In 2025, AI generated will content will reach and all time high.

This means two things for you:

  1. You should be learning how to use AI to increase your output, while maintaining quality
  2. This will create a design for real, authentic content

2 is particularly interesting.

Because as the worlds “zigs” toward AI-generated content and fake avatars…

People will crave more real connection with those who “zag” with a real, authentic brand.

AI avatars might be cool and flashy, but a true brand will always build the trust required for people to buy from you.

Don’t forget to show your human side.

3. The bar for quality is raised

In 2025 you can’t just put minimal effort into a video and call it a day.

There is SO much content out there now, and there are people making content that is really high quality.

Not to mention, there’s so much mass-produced, AI-generated content that people are getting sick of it.

Keep in mind that “quality” doesn’t necessarily mean expensive cameras and fancy lights.

It’s more about the “content” of the content.

Put a little more thought into your ideas. Give yourself space to think and be creative.

All it takes is doing a little more than what you typically see out there.

Put your own creative spin on your content, and you will stand out.

4. No need to reinvent the wheel

The amount of content in the world now is staggering.

And this presents a huge opportunity for you, especially if you’re just getting started.

It doesn’t matter what industry you’re in, there is somebody who has already been successful creating content around your topic.

And all you have to do is model them.

10 years ago, when I was making viral YouTube videos for brands, we had to study psychology really carefully to figure out what was going to hit.

Now you don’t have to.

There’s enough data and references out there that you can simply take the outlier videos that have clearly worked, and model them for yourself.

Obviously this doesn’t mean copying other people word for word.

But take the principles that make a video great, and use them with your own take.

5. Personal branding

Every year this becomes more and more clear, so it’s not hard to predict that this year will be no different.

This is the big macro trend of the next decade. People want to do business with people. Not businesses.

Your personal brand is how people make a split judgement decision about who you are and what level you’re operating on.

Studies have shown that as much as 50% of people are checking you out on social media before buying from you.

That means if you don’t have a presence on social media (or your presence doesn’t represent you well), you could be losing up to 50% of your buyers.

Focus on building your personal brand.

That means not just always talking about your business. Share a little more about you. Let your audience get to know, like, and trust you.

Build that audience and let it compound over time. And it will grow with you and follow you into all your future ventures.

How to capitalize on these trends

I’ve been getting a lot of questions about how to get started or how to be successful with online business in the coming year.

So this week I’m going to host a FREE workshop where I’ll show you how I’m doing it.

I’ll show you behind the scenes of my personal content strategy for 2025.

And I’ll show you how to get going fast.

Go here to register for the workshop.

I’m only doing it once.

See you there 👊
